Corporate Travel Consultants - Brisbane
Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Travel Consultant based in their Brisbane Office. Reporting to the Corporate Agency Manager you will be responsible for providing service between clients and suppliers to plan corporate and leisure travel requirements.
You will have a minimum of three years corporate consultancy experience in both domestic and international travel, and you will now be looking to take the next step in your corporate travel career.
Day to day you will be responsible for:
Liaising with clients in person, over the phone or via email to discuss their travel requirements.
Advise clients on suitable options for domestic and international destinations, tours, accomodation, transport, insurance and fares.
Prepare customised itineraries to suit the clients; preferences and budgets.
Make and confirm bookings.
Issue tickets or relevant documentation.
Providing updates and advice on travel regulations including visa and medical requirements, baggage limits, safety and local customers.
Modify existing bookings as required.
Research destinations and keep up to date with travel industry news.
Ongoing training with other team members and management.
To be considered for the role you will have:
A minimum of three years corporate travel experience.
A Certificate III in Travel
Experience using a GDS such as Galileo or Smartpoint.
Experience using Travelog.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A strong focus on customer service and exceeding customers expectations.
A team focus, being able to work with a diverse and international team to achieve positive and balanced outcomes.
